Game Day Fashion

Game day fashion for gators has turned into quite a spectacle! This project allowed me go inside the origin of game day fashion and how it's affecting the Gainesville community. I shot all the video for this piece, wrote the copy and edited the film.

Live Entertainment

I recently started anchoring the entertainment segment of our news show. I choose the stories I cover, write the copy and edit the video, and of course presenting the information live. This experience has been my first live studio work.

Pink Police

The Alachua County police and fire department supported breast cancer awareness by wearing pink for a day. We met some great people who were willing to share their personal stories. I wrote and edited this story. A peer helped with the filming.

Producing: Midday News Update

This is the show I produce at the University of Florida. I lead both the on air talent and the production crew through a live show. I am responsible for choosing the stories we run, managing the time, communicating with the talent while they're on the air, and putting together the graphics and stills. This is an extremely rewarding experience. I have the opportunity to lead new talent through their very first shows. Sometimes things don't always go the way I plan out, but it's always worth it. This show is live and airs every weekday.
